Make-up Ts & Cs

Securing services

Confirmation for the event will be made once the client has paid a non-refundable booking fee.

The booking fee is 50% of the total cost of make-up services at the event.

If the event is to be secured prior to the make-up trial, the booking fee is split into two payments, 25% at the time of booking and 25% at or after the trial. After the trial, the client has 24 hours to make the second payment to secure the event.

If make-up services are required for extra clients after the initial booking, 50%of their charge will be payable at the time of the addition.

For larger wedding parties where my assistant is needed, an extra charge will be applied at a rate of £10.00 per hour.

For larger wedding parties where an overnight stay is necessary, the cost will be charged to the client.  

The client can cancel or reschedule a trial at any time. However, if a trial is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the booking fee may be lost.

If the client is not happy with the make-up at the trial and doesn’t wish to go ahead, the deposit will be refunded minus the cost of the trial.

If the client wishes to book a trial only, a £10.00 non-refundable booking fee is required and will be deducted from the cost of the trial. However, the wedding date will not be secured at that stage.

Payment

Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash.

The non-refundable booking fee paid by the client is deducted from the total fee.

The remaining fee is to be paid in full, in cash at the event, or the client may wish to pay the remaining fee no later than seven days before hand via bank transfer or cash. Funds must be cleared or payment will need to be taken at the event. Any overpaid fees will be refunded to the client.

Cancellation

The client can cancel services for the event in writing at any point. The booking fee is non-refundable and the client will not be liable for any further payments.

If cancellation of services is within seven days of the event, the full balance is required.

For cancellations by me due to circumstances including, but not limited to, personal emergency, severe illness or act of god, a suitable alternative artist, subject to your approval, may be found. Where this is not possible, 100% of
costs already paid will be refunded. No further compensation will be offered.

If the booking is affected by circumstances beyond my control, every possible effort to rectify such situations will be made. No compensation will be offered on my part. The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance against such situations.
